Baritones are the  largest common ukulele of the group, usually about 29" long and resembles a small tenor guitar. The fretboard is typically about 19" long, 2" longer than the tenor size  which allows for more frets with wider spacing. The common tuning for baritones is D, G, B, E ~ which is the same as the 4th through 1st strings of a guitar. They also have a warmer and deeper voice due to their bigger body size. Although they can reach a lower range than sopranos, concerts or tenors they can't reach as high. These qualities make them popular with many guitar players.
