The Mezzo-Tenor is entirely my design. I wanted to make a ukulele that had a richer, fuller sound with more projection and sustain while preserving the playability of a tenor ukulele. After much calculation, to determine the optimal body shape and size, the best sound hole size and the scale that would offer easy playability with the bridge location able to transmit the best sound, this is the result. This unique ukulele has a larger lower bout, a smaller back radius and an 18" scale, about 1" longer than a standard tenor. It has received glowing reviews.
