Tenor Ukuleles

Tenors are the third largest in the ukulele family, usually about 26" long. The fretboard is about 2" longer than the concert size  which allows for wider spacing between the frets. The fretboard is also a little wider making it suitable for larger fingers. This combination makes them suited for fingerpicking. They also have a warmer and deeper voice due to their bigger body size. They have more frets than either the sopranos or concerts which allows  them to produce a wider range of notes. These qualities make them popular with many professional ukulele players.
